Leadership for Life Worldwide: International Development Fellowships: East Africa Chapter Meeting held in Nairobi, Kenya
Leadership for Life Worldwide (LfLW) – Sarvodaya initiated International Development Fellowship Programme’s – Eastern Africa Strategy Planning Retreat, Nairobi, Kenya was held from 09-12 June 2019.
LFLW http://lflworldwide.org/ is an innovative South – South Leadership Fellowship Program jointly launched by Sarvodaya Institute of Higher Learning – Sri Lanka (SIHL), Somaj-O-Jati-Gano- SOJAG – Bangladesh, Teach for Nepal – Nepal, and The Aga Khan University – Nairobi.
This intense but most enjoyable and productive series of meetings were hosted by Prof.Robert Amstrong, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, The Aga Khan University – East Africa and was held at Lord Errol Nairobi. The meeting was attended by the Founding Advisers – Prof.Sarah Macfarlane, Mr. Shisir Khanal (Founder Teach for Nepal), Prof.Marion Jacob, Mr. Udesh Fernando (Director SIHL and Program Manager LfLW), Ms. Astha Khatri (LfLW Fellow from Nepal from the Inaugural Batch), Rev.Fred Nyabera (Director End Child Poverty Initiative – Arigatou International) and other senior staff members from potential collaborating institutions from the Eastern African region. — Udesh Fdo @ Nairobi, Kenya.
